Domestic precision thin-section ball bearings have achieved significant high-end substitution breakthroughs. New-generation humanoid robots such as the Unitree H1 and Ubtech Walker X are fully equipped with domestic thin-section ball bearings for their hip and ankle joints.

Featuring a topologically optimized raceway design, the thin-section ball bearings are tailored for the compact installation space of robot joints. They reliably adapt to high-frequency, high-precision and dynamic operating conditions of humanoid robotic joints.

Verified test data shows that the optimized structure of thin-section ball bearings cut joint energy consumption by 42% and boosts load capacity by 50% within the same dimensional envelope. After ten million cyclic operations, the bearing still retains over 90% of its original motion performance.

The large-scale adoption effectively solves the high-cost and long lead-time problems of imported bearings. It further breaks the long-term foreign monopoly on humanoid robot core motion bearings, supporting the mass production and industrialization of domestic humanoid robots.
