The classification of spherical roller bearing

According to the distribution of the ferrule ribs, the spherical roller bearings can be divided into two types, inner ring without ribs single row spherical roller bearings (C type), and inner ring with ribs spherical roller bearings (CA type), as follows below.

C type spherical roller bearing

C type spherical roller bearings have no ribs on both sides of the inner ring, two cages, two rows of spherical rollers and one movable middle ring. When the bearing is running, the middle retaining ring can move axially to compensate. When the bearing is subjected to axial load, the two rows of roller loads can be adjusted to uniformly carry the load, avoiding stress concentration and stress on the single row of rollers.

CA type spherical roller bearing

CA type spherical roller bearing has ribs on both sides of the inner ring, one cage, two rows of spherical rollers, with or without rings. The cage can adjust two rows of rollers, make them evenly loaded when the bearing is subjected to axial load, avoiding concentration. It adopts brass solid cage.
