Most of QIBR thrust roller bearings are separate bearings, which are very convenient to install and disassemble. It is used to support axial and radial combined loads dominated by axial loads. The axial loads are mostly unidirectional, and most of the thrust roller bearings are single row bearings. According to different structures, thrust roller bearings are divided into thrust cylindrical roller bearing, thrust tapered roller bearing, thrust needle roller bearing, and thrust spherical roller bearing. Thrust roller bearings are suitable for occasion with relatively low rotational speed.

The outer dimensions of QIBR thrust roller bearings conform to GB/T273.2 "Genera plan for the outer dimensions of rolling bearing thrust bearing", GB/T4663 "Dimensions of rolling bearing thrust cylindrical roller bearings", GB/T5859 "Dimensions of rolling bearing thrust spherical roller bearings" and other regulations.

The tolerance of QIBR standard thrust roller bearings meets the requirements of GB/T307.4 "Tolerance of rolling bearing thrust bearing", JB/T7751 “Rolling bearing thrust tapered roller bearing” and other standards.

The dimensional tolerance grade of QIBR thrust roller bearings is generally made according to P0 (normal grade). If customers have other special requirements (including non-standard) for size, tolerance and clearance, QIBR are able to provide the corresponding product.

QIBR non-standard customized thrust cylindrical roller bearing

Non-standard thrust cylindrical roller bearing customization is a main part of QIBR categories. It can be customized according to the customer's working conditions or the place where the bearing works. Internally we can optimize and improve the design of the thrust cylindrical roller bearing, which can improve the loading capacity and service life of bearing. For example, the thrust cylindrical roller bearing can be made into a double row structure bearing, which can reduce rollers sliding in the cage pocket. It is also possible to design and manufacture new types of thrust roller bearing products that meet the customer's individual requirements. Our QIBR enables non-standard thrust cylindrical roller bearings to operate safely and smoothly with precision roller selection and bearing raceway production, to achieve optimum bearing performance.

Double row thrust cylindrical roller bearing

Raw material

QIBR precision anti-friction bearings are usually made of chrome steel, which consist of about 1% carbon, 1.5% chromium and a small amount of manganese, silicon, and sometimes a small amount of molybdenum.

QIBR offers you a wide range of material options such as GCr15, 100Cr6, SKF 3, SUJ-2 etc. At the same time, some models of QIBR are available in stainless steel.

The rolling element can be ceramic ball (silicon nitride). Due to ceramic is kind of special material, the ceramic ball bearing has advantages of higher rotation speed, good self-lubricating property, and the rigidity is 15%-20% higher than the general bearing, and better high temperature resistance.

Bearing cage

The high-quality cage used by QIBR bearings ensure that the rollers and balls are evenly distributed in the bearing rings and can be rotated properly.

The cage is divided into stamped cage, brass solid cage, reinforced nylon 66 etc. Bearing cages that operate under high temperature or harsh conditions are recommended to use steel cages or brass solid cages, four-row cylindrical roller bearing is recommended to use brass solid cages. QIBR offers a wide range of advice and options depending on the operating conditions.

Type of lubrication

Lubricating oil is the basic lubricant for ball bearings. Previously most of the lubricating oil was extracted from petroleum. Synthetic oils are now acceptable due to improved performance, such as two lipid synthetic oils, silicones and fluorocarbon synthetic oils. In general, lipid synthetic oils have better low temperature properties, lower volatility, and better temperature characteristics and viscosity compared than petroleum refined oils. Essentially all lubricants contain additives to inhibit chemical changes, prevent metal corrosion, and improve physical properties (antifoam, etc.).

The silicone and fluorocarbon synthetic oils that adopted by QIBR have lower volatility and wider temperature/viscosity characteristics.

Service life and the rated load

The bearing life is the number of bearing rotations before the fatigue occurs on the ring or any rolling element (or the rotation time at a constant speed). However, the same set of bearings will not necessarily have the same life under the same conditions. In this case, the rated life is the number of rotations that 90% of the bearings in this group can reach or exceed before bearing weariness (or the rotation time at a constant speed). The service life of QIBR series bearings are 10%-15% longer than other bearings of the same model, through strict production process, high standard material selection, precision control.

The classification of thrust roller bearings

According to the shape of the rolling element, thrust roller bearings are divided into thrust cylindrical roller bearing, thrust tapered roller bearing, thrust needle roller bearing and thrust spherical roller bearing, most of them are single row thrust roller bearings.

Thrust cylindrical roller bearing

Thrust cylindrical roller bearings are mostly one-way thrust bearings, including two flat rings without ribs and one set of radial arrangement cylindrical rollers which are combined by a cage. These bearings can be adjusted radials. During the rolling process, the inner and outer ends of the roller will slide, and the longer the roller is, the more severe the sliding will be. Therefore, for a bearing with a wide cross section, several short length rollers are placed in the long pocket of cage instead of a long roller. The bearings are typically fitted with a shaft-guided brass solid cage for holding, separating and guiding the rollers.

Thrust needle roller bearing

Thrust needle roller bearings are used in supports with small axial space structure, and their structures are similar to those of thrust cylindrical roller bearings. However, the thrust needle roller bearing has a smaller usage space, a small axial dimension, and a large bearing capacity. Because the length of the thrust needle roller is long, so the bearings have large friction force and relatively low rotation speed.

Thrust tapered roller bearing

The raceway surfaces of the thrust tapered roller bearing shaft washer and housing washer are conical surfaces, and its extension lines together with tapered roller center line intersects the same point of the bearing's axial line. The roller is guided by the ribs of the shaft washer, and is normally adopts brass solid cage. Therefore, the moving friction force is smaller than that of the thrust cylindrical roller bearing, and the bearing capacity is large.

Thrust spherical roller bearing

The spherical roller of the thrust spherical roller bearing has a angle with the bearing rotation axis, so the thrust spherical roller bearing can withstand large radial load, and large axial load also. The spherical roller is supported on the high rib of the shaft ring and can be adjusted in the spherical raceway of the housing washer, so the bearing can compensate for the concentricity error and the distortion of the shaft, just like the spherical roller bearing. Normally the cage is made of brass solid cage or stamping cage, which is widely used in crane column support, ship shaft thrust support, large instrument rotary column (spin arm) support, heavy duty worm gearing transmission support and so on.
